Sunny Sunday - finally!

After a weekend when the heavens opened and it rained and rained and rained we finally have a dry and sunny day for our first day of the working week. Not wasting any time Lindsey got stuck in with a little (stratigraphic) demolition removing a blocked doorway:

Here it is nearly finished:

And finally cleaned up for its photograph, note the upright stone behind the vertical black and white scale has walling on top forming corbelling for an alcove.

Meanwhile, Basil, one of the Bradford students, was also hard at it and found lots of mostly cattle bone and limpets in a midden partly sealed by collapsed walling on the eroded part of the roundhouse.
