Dig diary 7th July - Beth's Garderobe is a great success

Those of you who are avid followers of our dig diary may remember that earlier this year we were appealing for donations to buy a combination site hut/toilet trailer for our diggers, and that, thanks to the amazing generosity of our supporter, we were successful in our appeal, and raised the whole £5,844 by the deadline. We were particularly grateful to Doug and Beth, who not only gave us an initial substantial donation, but also made up the shortfall of the appeal so we could meet our deadline for placing the order. Doug requested that we should name the new facilities 'Beth's Garderobe' in honour of his good lady, and we were very happy to do so:
